About

Rohit Jain is a Partner at Singhania and Co. LLP, Solicitors & Advocates, and heads the Delhi-NCR practice of the Firm. A business-savvy lawyer, his practice area focuses on advising corporations on contentious and non-contentious legal and business issues including joint ventures, private equity investments, due diligences, commercial contracts, corporate policies, regulatory compliances, commercial negotiations, arbitration, mediation, and court litigation.

A third-generation lawyer, his Firm, Singhania & Co. LLP, was established in 1969 and is one of the top full-service law firms having offices at Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, London, Mumbai and New York. S&Co covers all aspects of a corporation’s legal requirements viz. corporate, commercial, IP and dispute resolution.

Rohit is also an engineer and a graduate from IIT Kharagpur. He actively participates in various tech forums and keenly follows the innovation space, which helps him to advise corporates on contemporary issues.

Rohit has been associated with the NSW Government in Australia and advises Australian companies on India specific strategies. A ‘Featured Lawyer’ in AsiaLaw Rankings – 2021, Rohit has been recognised by the World Bank for his contribution on “Doing Business in India”.

An article by Rohit titled ‘Hybrid Instruments’ made it to the ‘Capital Markets’ special issue of the Indian Chartered Secretary Journal and was adjudicated as the ‘Best Article’ in Finance, Accounts and Taxation Discipline.
