About
Shankar Jadhav is a Senior Partner at Singhania & Co., an international business consulting & legal organization. Shankar has been until recently Managing Director of BSE Investments, the investment arm of BSE, and the Chief Strategy Officer at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Asia’s oldest stock exchange, the world’s largest, and also the world’s fastest exchange.
He has served as a Director on Boards of Bank of India Shareholding Ltd., BFSI Sector Skill Council (part of National Skill Development Council), BSE Technologies, BSE Tech Infra Services, BSE Ebix Technology Services Pvt Limited, BSE CSR Integrated Foundation and is the Managing Director of BSE Investments Ltd.
Besides Strategy he has led the Legal Commercial Business Responsibility Marketing & Corporate Communications & infrastructure such as Data Centres, power, etc at BSE, is a member of the Solicitors & Advocates Review Committee (SARC) and has also been the IT & Chief Procurement Officer at BSE.
Shankar Jadhav is also a member of committees & working groups at the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), FICCI, ASSOCHAM, IMC, etc.
He has contributed to the Digital revolution by leading teams in setting up the largest telecom network in India, and power plants, and implementing software & hardware systems too.
As the Chief Strategy Officer for large groups has managed and grown businesses and advised in the areas of funding including PE/VC/finance/IPO/AIF/QIP/Equity placement/debt/Cyber security /Cybercrime/data privacy/data protection /IPR/arbitrations /dispute resolution/NCLT/SEBI/SAT matters.
Shankar is a B.Tech (Elec Engg) from IIT Bombay and an MBA (Finance & Marketing) from IIM Ahmedabad. He is also a Lead Assessor certified by BSIQA – UK, LLB, and a Chartered Engineer.
